Religion turns out to be a deeper topic than expected. After last week’s hectic episode, The Good Reverend Jim and his Crazy Friend Ronnie readdress religion with more focus and less swearing. This episode is primarily a lesson in world religions and The Good Reverend Jim’s views. Ronnie breaks from her “fun and dumb” stereotype with the shocking Bible verse Leviticus 19:19.
These religion episodes are primarily to set the stage for the Dialectical Behavior Therapy DBT discussions that will follow. The Good Reverend Jim uses some of the teachings of Jesus to help control his emotions. This will be discussed further next episode.
