Qualities
Every third sign is the same Quality. There are three quality groups: Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable.

I find these groupings to be the most interesting. Their characteristics tend to stand out more than other groupings. You can see their personality traits in the workplace and in social groups clearly. I usually refer to the Qualities as the “Sales Signs” (Cardinal), “Manager Signs” (Fixed), and the “Tech Signs” (Mutable). Once again, do not take this too literally.
People in the same Quality have a lot of strong similarities which can lead to good relationships. Remember that people tend to like people that are similar to them. I consider this to be the second best category for relationships because of the strong similarities, but there is a problem. The similarities in these groups can lead to competition and the differences don’t always compliment each other.
For example, if two people like attention, they are going to be competing with each other for attention. There you have a similarity that is not necessarily good. A difference might be something like one person wanting children and the other not. This is not a complementary difference. If you can get past issues such as these, it could be a great relationship.
